Is the SnapGrip Pro compatible with all smartphone models?
Yes. The SnapGrip Pro work with the majority of smartphones—flip phones are not supported. SnapGrip Pro magnetically attaches to MagSafe-compatible devices and cases; for non-MagSafe phones, you can purchase our magnetic sticker add-on when you check out.
Does the SnapGrip Pro work with bulky phone cases?
For best wireless-charging performance, we recommend using a flat-back or slim profile case. Thicker or heavily textured cases may reduce magnetic adhesion or interfere with Qi charging efficiency.
Does the SnapGrip Pro have a zoom control button?
No. The built-in Bluetooth shutter button is dedicated solely to capturing photos and videos. Any zoom functionality must be adjusted directly on your device’s native camera interface.
Can I replace the battery in the SnapGrip?
No. SnapGrip Pro’s high-capacity lithium battery is sealed inside to maintain a compact form factor and ensure safety. It is not user-replaceable.
Can I use the SnapGrip Pro with other SnapSeries accessories?
Yes. The SnapGrip Pro can fully magnetically integrate with our SnapLights, SnapStands, and all other Snap Accessories.
Is the SnapGrip Pro travel-friendly with its built-in lithium battery?

P.Series Lenses
Questions on P.Series
Is P.Series compatible with all Smarpthones?
P.Series is designed to work with the 1× main camera across iPhone, Android, and other smartphones.
To mount the lens on to your phone, you'll need an S.Mount Lens Mounting System.
For the easiest setup, use a ShiftCam S.Mount Camera Case where available — it connects directly to our S.Mount system for fast, secure, and precise alignment.
Available for selected iPhone & Android models.
For other phone models, P.Series can be used with a compatible Universal S.Mount, as long as the lens can be aligned with your phone’s 1× camera.
How do I mount the P.Series lens?
To mount the P.Series Mobile Lens, use an S-Mount Case (iPhone & available Android Cases) or the Universal S-Mount (other phones).
Mounting On Camera Cases:
- Locate the 1x Main Camera on the case, marked M.
- Align, attach and twist the P.Series Mobile Lens on to the mount marked M to secure in place.
Mounting on Universal S.Mount:
- In your camera app, switch to 1x to identify the Main Camera.
- If you're stuck, you can cover the camera lens 1 by 1 to identify which is the 1x Main Camera lens.
- Place the mount over that camera lens on your phone (not the 4x/5x Tele Camera), tighten.
- See dark corners? Nudge the mount slightly, re-tighten, and check again.
Using the P.Series Lens
- Use your phone's Native Camera App, or a 3rd Party Camera App.
- Make sure you use the 1x Camera.
(Switch on your Macro Mode on your phone's Camera settings to avoid phone camera auto-switching to lock on to your 1x Main Camera) - Now you can see and use your P.Series Mobile Lens.
Do P.Series lenses come with a lens cap?
No. V.Series lenses do not come with a lens cap.
Each lens comes with a travel pouch, designed to store the lens safely and securely when not in use or when carrying it on the go.
Do you sell P.Series compatible Filters?
We’ve just launched our newest 72mm Magnetic Filters, built with cinema-grade optical glass and advanced multi-layer coatings for maximum clarity, contrast, and color accuracy.
They’re designed to magnetically pair with P.Series mobile lenses—however, an additional mounting adapter is required.
To mount the 72mm magnetic filters, you’ll need an Mobile Lens to Filter Adapter (M49 to 72mm Filter Mount Adapter). Attach the adapter to the lens first, then magnetically attach the filters onto the adapter.
What's the difference between V.Series and P.Series?
P.Series is designed as ShiftCam’s more portable, compact lens tier for everyday mobile photography. It gives users an easy way to explore new focal lengths, capture different perspectives, and improve their shots without adding too much size or complexity to their setup.
V.Series is ShiftCam’s premium optical tier. It is built for creators who want a higher level of image quality, optical precision, and creative control. V.Series uses full fluorite optics, up to 7 optical elements, and up to 7 coating layers per surface for cleaner clarity, stronger contrast, and better control over flare, distortion, and chromatic aberration.
In short, P.Series is smaller, lighter, and made for everyday shooting, while V.Series is larger, more advanced, and built for higher-end creative work.
