"I bought this specifically because I have limited mobility in my left arm and it also was a battery charger. On paper it was great, but in actuality it was a flop. I took it to a concert and after soundcheck, I took my phone off to save battery. When the actual concert began, it would not work because the bluetooth wouldn’t connect. It was so disappointing. I sent back a cheaper version from Amazon, and maybe it would have worked better. For me, it was wasted money, but I could see where it might be a good product for others."

"Hi, After using it for a little bit. The thing I would try to improve on is the feel of the button. Many times, when using the grip, I can’t tell if my finger is actually on the button. A little extra bump in the middle of the button would help center my finger (like the keyboard F and J keys. Otherwise, the grip is handy to have a better hold on the phone when taking pictures."

Does not re-connect to phone after it sleeps.

"Great when connected but if it goes to sleep you have to enter bluetooth settings and 'forget device' then re pair with your phone. This is very annoying when you need to get a quick picture."

I was a little skeptical

"I was a little skeptical about this product since you see a lot of variations everywhere. But it is game changing. It's so easy to take pictures and makes it so much more phone. Everyone always asks where did I get it and becomes a talking point in any conversation. Definitely recommend if you take a lot of pictures because it feels so different on your hand and has made taking pictures easily. Also, the charging makes your phone last longer if you're out and about taking pictures as well."

"Hi all, I like the product and want to give a very good review on it. It's convenient and connects well and is ergonomic. However the snap stand selfie magnetic detachable bluetooth shutter button doesn't stay on very strong and is easily lost. So I'm trying to do a good review on this in my channel and social media, I cannot find it. And I was trying to look on your site for a replacement and this isn't available. There's also no way I want to buy and entire new snapstand just to get that shutter button that fits right into it. The magnet is very weak. Can you help me replace this? Jeff"

Is the SnapGrip compatible with all smartphone models?

Yes. The SnapGrip work with the majority of smartphones—flip phones are not supported. SnapGrip Pro magnetically attaches to MagSafe-compatible devices and cases; for non-MagSafe phones, you can purchase our magnetic sticker add-on when you check out.

Does the SnapGrip work with bulky phone cases?

For best wireless-charging performance, we recommend using a flat-back or slim profile case. Thicker or heavily textured cases may reduce magnetic adhesion or interfere with Qi charging efficiency.

Does the SnapGrip have a zoom control button?

No. The built-in Bluetooth shutter button is dedicated solely to capturing photos and videos. Any zoom functionality must be adjusted directly on your device’s native camera interface.

Can I replace the battery in the SnapGrip?

No. SnapGrip high-capacity lithium battery is sealed inside to maintain a compact form factor and ensure safety. It is not user-replaceable.

Can I use the SnapGrip with other SnapSeries accessories?

Yes. The SnapGrip can fully magnetically integrate with our SnapLights, SnapStands, and all other Snap Accessories.

Is the SnapGrip travel-friendly with its built-in lithium battery?

What warranty do your products include?

All ShiftCam products come with a 1-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. If your product malfunctions under normal use within one year of purchase, we’ll repair or replace it at no charge. (See full warranty terms for details.)

What is your return and refund policy?
  • Defective or Damaged Items: Return within 365 days for a free replacement under warranty. Shipping, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.
  • Non-Defective/Unwanted Items: Return within 365 days for a refund minus a 20% restocking fee; original shipping costs are non-refundable. You may opt for store credit instead of a refund.

Note: Discounted items during sale periods (e.g. Black Friday) are final sale. All returns must include original packaging and components; customers are responsible for return shipping with tracking.
