Is the ProGrip compatible with all smartphone models?

Yes. The ProGrip’s adjustable clamp opens symmetrically and closes automatically, securely holding any smartphone 58 – 90 mm wide, with or without a case. (Flip-style phones are not supported.)

Can I attach an external SSD to my phone while using the ProGrip?

While it’s technically possible, we don’t recommend it. Mounting an SSD—and its cable—can interfere with the clamp and may feel awkward during use, ultimately detracting from your shooting experience.

Does the ProGrip have a zoom control button?

No. The ProGrip is designed with a single Bluetooth shutter button for capturing photos and videos. Zoom functions must be controlled directly on your device or via its native camera app.

Can I replace the ProGrip’s battery?

No. The ProGrip uses a sealed, built-in lithium battery. This design maximizes reliability and safety but means the battery is not user-replaceable.

Is the ProGrip travel-friendly with its built-in lithium battery?

Absolutely. The ProGrip meets airline safety standards for portable lithium-ion devices, so you can pack it in your carry-on and stay powered up wherever your adventures take you.

What shipping methods do you offer and do you ship internationally?

We offer two flexible shipping options to meet your needs:

  • Standard Shipping: 7–21 business days
  • Express Shipping: 3–7 business days with tracking

What warranty do your products include?

All ShiftCam products come with a 1-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. If your product malfunctions under normal use within one year of purchase, we’ll repair or replace it at no charge. (See full warranty terms for details.)

What is your return and refund policy?
  • Defective or Damaged Items: Return within 365 days for a free replacement under warranty. Shipping, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.
  • Non-Defective/Unwanted Items: Return within 365 days for a refund minus a 20% restocking fee; original shipping costs are non-refundable. You may opt for store credit instead of a refund.

Note: Discounted items during sale periods (e.g. Black Friday) are final sale. All returns must include original packaging and components; customers are responsible for return shipping with tracking.

"Pretty good product! There isn't a lot of aftermarket support for Pixel phones, so this universal mount was one of the few options available for both my 8 pro and 11 pro. Solid and secure mounting, easy and consistent wireless charging and a great build quality. My only complaints are an occasional delay in shutter action and the design of the clamp interferes with the volume buttons."

"Works great. Just a shame I had to order another one because my previous one would not pair with my iPhone 16 Pro Max. I tried everything and it would not pair. It worked previously very well on my 15 iPhone Pro Max, but would not pair with a 16 But with this new one, it’s working just great Don’t know if he has to do with the iOS upgrades on the iPhone, but it shouldn’t have me buy another one just to make it work."

"In terms of functionality, I really like the feel of this grip. I have one complaint, however, because the edges of the device that hold the iPhone give a bit, causing the phone to wobble while in use if not careful. I believe this is because the edges that hold the phone do not overlap enough and are made of plastic rather than metal. I hope that you correct these deficiencies in future versions of the device."

Not compatible with the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL

"If you own a Google Pixel 10 Pro XL, this isn't compatible because the side grips overlap the volume-down button, causing it to either continually snap photos or lower your volume. I emailed support, and their suggestion was to slide the phone up or down in the case, causing it to not align with the charging ring -- a major feature of this device. They also suggested a slim case, but since the volume button is fairly important, it's going to always stick up in any phone case. Anyway, as it is now, the Pro Grip is not compatible with the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL."

"It holds my jphone well and the shutter button works well. It's a little bulky to keep on your phone for long periods if you are not using the camera. It seems to be of good quality and it does charge your phone while it is in place. Make sure you like it befor purchase because they have a ridiculous 20% restocking fee!"
