ShiftCam One Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ShiftCam One iOS application ("App") provided by ShiftCam ("ShiftCam," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. The App is intended for users aged 18 and older.

1. Using ShiftCam One
   ShiftCam One is an iOS application designed to work with compatible ShiftCam products. It supports lens registration, photo and video capture, media management, editing, sharing, warranty-related services, and customer support. Certain features depend on compatible ShiftCam hardware, supported iPhone models, your iOS version, network availability, or third-party services.
   You must use the App in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
   
   
2. Account and Product Registration
   Some features require a ShiftCam account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure, for activities under your account, and for ensuring your account information is accurate.
   Product registration through the App helps you manage your ShiftCam products and related services. Registration does not transfer product ownership or guarantee warranty eligibility. Warranty services are subject to ShiftCam's applicable warranty terms.
   
   
3. Your Content
   You retain ownership of the photos, videos, and other content you create or provide through the App. Your captures remain on your device unless you choose to share, export, or submit them.
   You grant ShiftCam permission to process your content only as necessary to provide the features you choose to use, such as editing, sharing, or support. We do not use your private photos or videos for advertising or AI model training. For details on how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
   
   
4. AI Features
   The App may provide AI-assisted features, such as search and editing tools. AI-generated results may not always be accurate or suitable for your intended purpose. You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on or sharing them.
   
   
5. Purchases
   The App may display ShiftCam products and link to shiftcam.com. Purchases are made on shiftcam.com under its own terms and policies.
   
   
6. Third-Party Services
   The App may integrate with third-party services, including sign-in providers, customer support, and AI services. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
   
   
7. Acceptable Use
   You agree not to: use the App for unlawful purposes; attempt unauthorized access to the App or related systems; submit false information for account, product registration, or warranty services; or interfere with the operation or security of the App.
   
   
8. Intellectual Property
   The App, including its software, design, trademarks, and related materials, is owned by ShiftCam and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute the App except as permitted by law.
   
   
9. Availability, Disclaimer, and Liability
   We aim to provide a reliable experience, but the App may not always be available or error-free, and features may change. To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available," and ShiftCam is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App. These Terms do not affect warranties covering ShiftCam hardware products or any statutory rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
   
   
10. Termination
    You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or misuse of the App, including fraudulent registration or warranty claims.
    
    
11. Apple App Store
    These Terms are between you and ShiftCam only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.
    
    
12. Changes to These Terms
    We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
    
    
13. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert Governing Jurisdiction], except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your place of residence apply.
